Summary/Abstract: The international actions taken to prevent nuclear risk, to intervene in the event of an accident and to determine liability for nuclear damage have led to the adoption of international obligatory instruments: global agreements and conventions. They create new international regime of physical and radiation protection, nuclear safety and security and improve the existing legal regime with regard to nuclear liability. International perception of existing instruments is that they are adequate and applicable to redefining global nuclear-related issues.
