Summary/Abstract: 'The Arab spring', an expression which indicates since 2011 the series of revolutions of Arab countries, constitutes a moment of break with the usual sense of the term spring. Meaning from now on revolution of the Arabic peoples, the term acquires a designative dimension sending back to a particular sociopolitical situation relative to particular events. So, the objective of the present article would thus be to accentuate the characteristics relative to this expression which make of it an interpretable expression with regard to its conditions of production what makes of it an expression appropriate to the discursive genre.
