Summary/Abstract: The author of the text wrotes that the language of visual arts wasn’t so important to Stanisław Dróżdż as verbal language. He used the elements of the verbal language (words, letters, diacritic signs) in the same way as he used elements of the mathematics language: digits, symbols, algorithms (first of all combination and permutation). He improved his knowledge of graphic design in order to produce precise forms of visual signs that were connected with ideas. It were not the principles of visual art forms that decided of the visual shape of his artworks, but the meaning of the notion which he was concerned was most important for it. The article describes artistic development of the artist from his linguistic poems to big spatial forms. Elżbieta Łubowicz wrotes about the growth of complicated systems that were the basis of Dróżdż’s artwork. She considered his artwork as ‘research tools’, that he used in order to reach the borders of imagination and go beyond what we normally perceive from the reality. Dróżdż designed his art pieces in order for them to be read, and he believed that only when read, they could be reveal their inner sense. If we consider his artwork as going beyond the limits of poetry and entering the realms of visualization, we realize that his art is unique and has no equivalents in global art. However, if we only look from the perspective of visual art, we can see interesting visual projects, which resemble other, equally interesting projects.
