Summary/Abstract: The research attention of this paper focuses on risk management in the franchiser’s business activity. Its main goal is to provide for a theoretical interpretation of the risk and to determine the specific risks for franchisers in adapting and approving a model for their management. The empirical research methodology is developed based on a quantitative risk assessment approach used by the renowned franchise company McDonald's. The applied regression analysis confirms the significance of the determined risk factors, which contributes to the approval of an effective risk management model.
