Institutional Political Life and Political Communication

Summary/Abstract: The political institutional life offers time and space to political communication, representing that aggregate of the actors’ practices and games which give to the institutions a symbolic visibility, by making evident their intervention in the public space. In this framework, the political and institutional activity will completely articulate the symbolic dimension of the political communication to the reality of the public life. This articulation between the real and the symbolic consistency of the political space becomes obvious by the intervention of the political actors in the space of sociability and the way of putting to action the various strategies that ensure their visibility. In this context, I tried to analyze the most representative aspects of the problem: the presidential communication and its different models, the government and the parliament as collective actors of the political communication and the local communication.
