Summary/Abstract: Throughout the years, the two cultural and doctrinaire worlds – philosophy and Christianity – have always claimed a series of principles aiming to be considered as “absolute” from the perspective of “defining the divine”, but also from the point of view of contouring the main characteristics of the world. The following lines intend to describe a historical moment when the meeting between the two doctrinaire spaces already mentioned above manifested itself in a visible seething manner while bringing to attention an extremely diverse conceptual landscape about the Neoplatonic philosophers’ attempt to demonstrate their own visions as compared to the Christianity’s.
