Identification of contemporary trends in human capital management by the prism of HR (human resources) works

Summary/Abstract: The changes taking place both in the economy and in society require a new look at basic productive resources, in particular human resources, which in the knowledge-based economy have acquired a key meaning. Nowadays, human capital has become as essential factor stimulating socio-economic development. The article characterizes the basic components of human capital based on the literature of the subject. While, based on surveys (own and secondary), current trends in human capital management have been classified through the prism of activity in enterprises of HR departments.
