Summary/Abstract: The general objective of logistics is to ensure of all necessary things in order to fulfill different missions, plans or actions. This paper aims to show the evolution of logistics when passing from planned economy to the new market based economy in the last two decades. Logistic activity is common in many fields of activity (economic, cultural or military), but the main field where it was consecrated was the economical one. Logistics is the main element of any economic strategy and is the link between many activities. The originality and value of this study comes from the suggestions that have been made regarding concepts and methods that might improve logistic activity.
