Summary/Abstract: Dionyz Durišin, a Slovak literary theorist and the world famous comparitivist, developed his conception of a literary history in different historic and social circumstances from those we witness nowadays. Therefore, it represents a challenge for recognition and separation of its actual values –interliterary communities and interliterary centrism as a result of a mutual connection between more national literatures, with reference to a suitable literary – historic units. What can be found particularly interesting are open possibilities in researching mutual relationships between the Slavs, and people and communities from the Middle Europe which are in a large measure connected with historical, political and cultural heritage for ages.
