Summary/Abstract: At the beginning of November 2017, a Common noctule bats (Nyctalus noctula) sounding was recorded in a building on Alipašino polje in Sarajevo. The building was previously known as a place of hibernation of this species during the winter. Later on, during the processing of the recording from the ultrasonic detector it is confirmed that this is the mentioned species. A few days later, the Common noctule bat was recorded on Vilsonovo šetalište near the Hotel Bristol. On the same recoding there were several weak, but by all characteristics recognizable signal of the social calls of the Parti-coloured bats. This is the first finding of this kind in Sarajevo.
