Information overload. The trial of problem identification in small and medium enterprises

Summary/Abstract: The phenomenon of excess of information more and more commonly threatens the efficiency of organization’s functionality. The paper shows the symptoms of appearing of this problem in the organization and identifies possible reasons. The most important acknowledged solutions are : the creation of the informational culture in the organization and the implementation of solutions supporting the management of knowledge and information in the organization. Moreover, there are presented findings of own research of which the aim was the trial of identification of a problem of informational overload in small and medium enterprises.
