Summary/Abstract: In the present article is presented the problem of the moral identity which is related with the notion of the identity and the moral functioning of the self. There is a definition of that what is moral identity – combination of moral opinions, understandings, emotions and representations of our own self. The author presents several theories about the moral motivation and actions: theories about the moral thinking, theories about the moral emotions and theories about the moral identity.
