Summary/Abstract: From the undertaken analyses it results that more careful attention should be given for the parental contribution to the educative process. The author stresses that the professional development of teachers should be accompanied by the stronger involvement of parents in being responsible for the education of their children. It seems that now didactic achievements of school are still expected too automatically.
