Preventing of negative consequences of natural disasters in opole voivodeship – financial aspects

Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to present the issue of preventing the negative consequences of natural disasters. Spending means on public safety, flood protection and health protection, spatial development and finances connected with removing the effects of these kinds of phenomena make possible minimize the negative consequences of their occurrence. The means are assigned for e.g. spatial planning, crisis management and recovery. The author presents the mentioned issues on the example of Opole Voivodeship (NUTS 2).
