Summary/Abstract: The stylistic analysis of the memoirs by Zofia Stryjeńska – which are an excellent source to depict the vivid, informal, private Polish language used by an educated person who perfectly knows the standard version of the language – is aiming at revealing those idiolect features of the author that are differentiating and classifying in character on the one hand and on the other identifying and individualising, which altogether show the creative attitude of the author towards the language.
