Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to analyze problem areas and tools used in the identification process of talented employees. The article consists of two parts: theoretical and empirical. The first part discusses the problems associated with defining talented employees. Methods and tools used in identifying talents are also presented. The empirical part contains partial results of research on talent management carried out by the Department of Human Capital Management at the Cracow University of Economics.
