ВОПРОСУ СУИЦИДНЫХ ДЕЙСТВИЙ В БОЛГАРИЙ
On Suicides in Bulgaria

Summary/Abstract: Suicide as a phenomenon in social life does not cease to excite humanity since old times. Suicides range among the first ten reasons for death in contemporary societies. They exercise a negative impact on society and an oppressive effect on the family and close relatives of the suicides. But most of all suicides lead to an absurd reason for the loss of life. A programme for prevention of suicides whose main target are the attempts for suicide in which the doers have survived has been developed in 1993. Its main purpose is to formulate and implement prevention schemes for the promotion of psychic health and build up a psychically stabile personality in the growing up teenagers. Presented are the results of the analysis of suicidal data of suicides or attempts for such and the factors determining suicidal behaviour registered in four municipalities.
