Summary/Abstract: The celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Great Victory in the war for the defense of the country has proved, on the one hand, that the return to the USSR of the Breshnev or Stalin era is impossible, and on the other hand that the wish for such a regression remains a recurrent feature of the national psychology, skillfully speculated by the present Russian politicians.
