Summary/Abstract: in this study, the evaluation of problem identifying and solving performances which is one of the current and controversial issues in the management sciences, were examined in a comprehensive manner and supported by empirical research. in this context, the aim of the study is to determine which factors are more effective in explaining problem identifying and solving performances according to titles and duties of employees. This study includes theoratically the importance of business management, specialities of contemporary managers, manager groups dependent on their level, assignments, responsibilities and finally problem identifying and solving performances of this groups, in data assessment part obtained with manager groups in the field of different level , frequency analysis on demographic information , obtained findings according to manager groups statistical definition for issue assignation, ratio for manager groups. Additionally, due to F test, meaningful results and important differences have been found, in the course of problem determinig and problem solving process of manager groups
