Summary/Abstract: AlexandruBusuioceanu gained fame within the Romanian culture as a critic and historian of art, asa poet, essays writer, and historian of the European myths and especially as a spokesman ofthis one along the Iberian area, where he spent the last two decades of his life.Among the published books, one draw the attention starting with its issuing:Ethos. Within this book one notices that, for Busuioceanu, art (in all its forms) remainsthe highest and the purest principle of expressing human thought, because it cannotleave aside what is the deepest and most specific trait of the human being: the ethical(moral). With this belief, and under the sign of natural interaction of the two mainly andpredominantly axiological fields – the ethical and aesthetical ones –, Al. Busuioceanubuilds his paper on the domain of their confluence, the main characteristic of theperspective it presents being the unity good-beauty from the perspective of endowingart with the role of an important supporter of realising such a conduct and moralcharacter that it gets them increasingly closer, towards the realization of virtue.
