Summary/Abstract: The article presents theoretical assumptions of the organizational culture of an institution (school) offered e.g. by Cz. Sikorski, R. Harrison and others. With reference to international studies, it focuses on characteristic features of the organizational structure of educational institutions in Małopolska province. The summary presents the dominant type of culture and possible changes that can be adopted in this regard.
