Summary/Abstract: Understanding the factors affecting consumer’s travel destination decision-making process is important and takes abroad place in the research of the scholars from a variety of social science disciplines. The motives for destination choice a are the key to the tourism offer design and help to develop appropriate marketing activities. For a better understanding of travelers’motives to choose Bulgaria as a vacation destination and to study the key factors influencing the decision-making process, a model is designed. A survey is conducted and the key factors influencing the decision-making process for choosing Bulgaria as a vacation destination are highlighted.
