Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper is to discuss critically the soaring development of co- working spaces and their impact on the event industry. The paper starts from a short summary of the expansion of the sharing economy the last decade. Then we examine the co- working spaces as an emerging model of traditional services offered and we identified the different kind of events organized in co-working spaces and the impact of the ecosystem on the established partnerships. Finally we give our reflections for future research.
