REFLECTIONS AND CONSIDERATIONS ON WORK ACCIDENTS

Summary/Abstract: An occupational injury is a violent injury to the human body, produced during the work process or in the discharge of the duties of service causing temporary incapacity for work, invalidity or death. In the event of an accident at work, the law is the first to be consulted, whether we are an employee or an employer. Therefore, it is imperative to know what obligations or responsibilities employers and employees have in the event of this type of work event. This article briefly discusses the issue of work accidents from the notion, causes, reporting, research, registration and evidence thereof, and to obligations to prevent such event.
