Summary/Abstract: In 2007 the Cooperatives Act 2 added a new Chapter 2 a "European Cooperative Society". According to Art. 51a A European Cooperative Society established in the Republic of Bulgaria is established under Regulation (EC) No 1435/2003 on the Statute of the European Cooperative Society (SCE) 3. The SCE is derived from the Latin name of Societas Cooperativa Europea.
