Summary/Abstract: The author discusses in detail the Assembly of the Priests of St. Paul, particularly in the period between 1920 and 1922 when it acted as the coordinator of the Slovene and Croatian clergy in the region under the Italian military administration and made decisions on the pastoral activities. The author discusses the behaviour of the Slav clergy during that period, its efforts in dealing with the situation alter the war, the relations towards the political authorities and towards te Socialist and the Liberals. Its treatment of social Issues, ln particular; is analysed.
