Summary/Abstract: The named AGENDARIVS, Liber continens ritvs et caeremonias, qvibvs in administrandis sacramentis, benedictionibus et alijs quibusdam ecclesiasticis functionibus parochi et alij curati in dioecesi etprouincia Strigoniensi vtuntur edited by Nicolas Oláh (1493–1568) the roman catholic high priest and leader of the Counter-Reformation, consists of many interesting details in the native Magyar tongue; among them two matrimonial sermons in Hungarian. Nearly a century later, just after being returned after his peregrination in protestant universities of the Netherlands,György Csipkés Komáromi (1628–1678) professor of the Debrecen Reformed Collegeproduced for his pupils a short Hungarian ceremonial booklet with Latin rubrics, titled Formula Brevis Sacramenta ut Baptismum et Coenam Domini Administrandi Personas Matrimonium ineuntes copulandi,&c. Poenitentes abſolvendi, quà uſus est Georgius Cs. Komaromi S. S. Theol. Doctor., which survived only in manuscript copies.
