Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the outcome of research related to the perception of work in professional spheres connected with accounting by students of economic studies. The perception of work in audit, bookkeeping, controlling and financial analysis was analyzed. The analysis of empirical data was enriched by the study of literature of psychology.
