Processes of population relocation in rural and town-rural communes of the lower-silesia voivodship in 1988, 1996, 2002

Summary/Abstract: The study characterises the processes of population relocation including the density of population and the balance of migration in Lower-Silesia rural and town-rural communes in the years 1988, 1996 and 2002. The analyses of selected demographic processes in rural and town-rural communes were divided into thematic groups: analysis of population development and location in rural areas of Lower-Silesia Voivodship, analysis of migration in rural areas of Lower-Silesia, differences in the degree of the elements in the analysed years. The analysis will make it possible to find communes with favourable, average and unfavourable demographical changes within the analysed features and to present the results in a form of cartograms.
