THE ACTUALISATION OF THE COVENANT IN DEUTERONOMISTIC HISTORY

Summary/Abstract: The article deals with possibilities of actualisation of covenant in the so called deuteronomistic history of ancient Israel: in the Old Testament books Deuteronomy, Joshua, Judges, both of Samuel, and both of Kings. It examines the actualisations of covenants sealed between people, first on the political level and then on the personal level. The main point of the research is the actualisation of covenantal relationship between God and man.
