Summary/Abstract: This study aims to analyse the level of excusition of team leadership role of headmistresses in comparision with vice principals and teachers and the level of importance given to it. In this study conducted with survey( screening) model, data was collected through survey. In the first part of the survey are some personal information.In the second part, there is a survey about ''team leadership roles''conducted by Topaloğlu and Aydın (2005). The population of the study consists of teachers and vice principals working in 30 primary schools in the city of Ankara, İzmir,Manisa , Mersin and Balıkesir in which the principals are women. 585 teachers and vice-principals working in these cities have been contacted and eliminating wrong and missing answered surveys, 424 teachers and 48 vice-principals 472 surveys in total have been included in the study. ( n=472). While assessing the data frequency, percentage, approximate analysis of varyant and t-test statistical process were used. It can be seen that to what extent how scmenhool principals as team leaders perform their roles against vice principals and teachers. The level of performing this attitude of female school principals is below the level of expectations of vice -principals and teachers.When assessing the wievs of vice principals and teachers about the team leadership of school principals, there appeared a positive and significant relation between the level of performing the attitude of the female school principal and the level of importance. There has been a significant difference between the level of performing team leadership and level of regarding these roles in terms of ages of vice principals and teachers, seniority in the organization, total professional experience, position of education management and in sercive training and variants of the city where they work.
