Summary/Abstract: The labor conflicts have always been a fundamental subject and their solving in the most efficient and convenient way for both parts is often a goal that is hard to achieve. Conflicts are important because they signal the issues that the society generally has and finding reliable solutions is the first step to development. That is why solving labor conflicts often leads to the improvement of the relations between employee and employer, offering at the same time solutions meant to prevent these conflicts. This article approaches general aspects regarding labor and right conflicts as well as the procedures of their solving, namely the conciliation procedure, the legal institution of mediation as well as the optional procedure of arbitration.Within the final part of this material, there will be analyzed the strike as the main way of fighting for certain social and economical claims regarding the payment of the salary, the work conditions, and the social security.
