The Library of Prof. Pancho Vladigerov National Academy of Music through Readers Eyes (sociological research)

Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the results from the carried out at the beginning of the 2014/ 2015 academic year poll aimed to survey readers’ opinions on the quality of work of Prof. Pancho Vladigerov National Academy of Music Library. Users’ categories are presented through a stratified (layer) profile, as their visit frequency has been surveyed. Users’ opinions of the work environment and collection fullness have been sought. Readers’ recommendations on the future development of the library have been systematized. The results from the readers’ poll have been used to draw conclusions characterizing the function of the Music Academy Library.
