New Information Space and its Impact on Music Academic Society

Summary/Abstract: This article discusses contemporary society phenomena – those of “information society”, formed by technology and internet – surveying knowledge organization into computer encyclopedias, databases, etc., outlining improved communication devices in the new information space. One of them is the internet – permitting quick evolution in information transfer. Technology leaves its mark on scientist interaction, introducing new communication conditions in society and culture, quick technological evolution, including digitalization, text and sound fund formalization. Various music organizations are listed, related to scientific communication with new technology terms, rethinking the new functions of science information resources.
