Summary/Abstract: The paper relates to the concept of “System of tasks” as a teaching approach, which means teaching through tasks. The tasks cover all stages of teaching: motivation for learning a new topic, introduction of new knowledge, training and application at distinct levels of complexity. The design of such a system is hierarchical: target, planning competencies, selection of tasks, organization, teaching approaches and support tools. This point of view is demonstrated on the topic Recursion.
