Summary/Abstract: Chapter X of the Albanian Labour Code regulates the special protection of children and women at work, taking into account pregnant, recently born or breastfeedingemployees. There are established social protection measures in favor of these employees.,The prohibition of working at inadequate work places or at night. In the case of adopting anewborn, the woman enjoys the right to leave defined by the law on social insurance.
