Summary/Abstract: Jews established a state called “Hebrew” in Palestine between 1010 and 970 BC. However, the Jews who were exposed to invasion of various nations migrated to various regions of the world. At the end of the nineteenth century, they suggested the idea of establishing a state in Palestine and claimed the land through purchase from the Ottoman Empire. This wish of theirs was not fulfilled because of the opposition of Abdul Hamid II. After this phase, the Jews who are from various parts of the world immigrated to Palestine. At the time of World War I, the British foreign affairs minister published the Balfour Declaration, bearing his name, on November 2, 1917 which promised to establish a state in Palestine. European states and especially US and USSR supported this. Thereupon, Jews in various parts of the world were consciously placed in Palestine. Jews were going to accelerate the process of establishing a state in Palestine when they exposed to Nazi persecution during World War II. Israel declared its independence on May 28, 1948, and in return, many European states were going to recognize the state of Israel. Although Turkey didn’t cognise it in the beginning it was going to recognize the independence of Israel a year later because of its pro-western foreign policy.
