Summary/Abstract: The present research was determined by the constant preoccupation for stress management, and even “stress elimination” from all human activities, but especially from the teaching and learning process. It seems that the goal is to have “education without stress”. However, the goal of this research was rather to discover our students’ knowledge about stress, the way they experience stress and the solutions they have for increasing their well-being. In this respect, bachelor degree students were asked to answer a set of questions and to draft a possible solution plan for improving their student experience. They were provided with little guidance. First of all, because the aim was to give them enough space for them to be able to explore the way they really feel about stress, in general, not only related to school. Second of all, because there is a considerable amount of literature on this topic, a lot of expert opinions, and I wanted to give them the freedom to come up with their own solutions; to stimulate their creativity, but also their accountability for their own well-being. So far, this approach has worked better. Students prefer drafting and implementing their own solutions than agreeing with expert advice or implementing readymade solutions.
