Summary/Abstract: This study presents several aspects of the life and the scientific and cultural activity of the distinguish researcher and historian of Romanian science and technology: PhD Prof. Eng. Nicolae P. Leonăchescu, Doctor Honoris Causa of University of Craiova. A dedicated researcher of Romanian and foreign archives, Nicolae P.Leonăchescu was the man who knew that no one else could organize his memory. In this sense, he stands as a testimony his last book „Summary of a life” – an atypical book become model of memory organization.
