The role of competence and human relationships   in stimulation of developmental potential in adults

Summary/Abstract: Contemporary thoughts on factors conditioning the value of human potential take into consideration the significance of its qualitative features. Competencies and  human relationships have been precisely, among others, pointed out as important qualitative features of human capital. They also play an important role in stimulation of developmental potential in adults. In a process of enhancing the value of human capital in adults, not only their competency potential is important but also competencies themselves, attitudes and mindset of persons professionally involved in this process.  The level of social competencies as well as the level of interpersonal relationships are important determinants in a process of building a new solidarity between generations in educational, consulting and mentoring processes. Thoughts on this subject are supported by conclusions coming from the personal studies, consulting and project experience of the author of this research paper.
