Summary/Abstract: The archaeological researches of 2017 were conducted in the area representing the former administrative sector of the Pietroasa Viticulture and Winery Research and Development Station, which corresponds with the perimeter of one of the Late Antiquity Necropolises from Pietroasele (Necropolis no. 2).After a 2 year break we resumed the activity by reopening and extending a trench partially investigated in 2014 (S. XIV) and by opening a new section (S. XV), located north of the dormitory block. In S. XV we identified an inhumation tomb (M. 48) where a teenager of 12-14 years old, probably female, was buried (orientated S 2850 ‰).In S. XIV we investigated two partially overlapping dwellings L. 4 and L. 5. Both structures were dated to the 9th-10th centuries and document different phases of this settlement.
