Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on the division of the text of the Books of the Kingdoms in three different types of copies belonging to the cheti-, the catena and the chronographic redactions. After systematizing the material, the author highlights the differences and the common features in the segmentation of the text in the three different types of codices and draws conclusions regarding the purpose and the time of its introduction.
