Summary/Abstract: In many cultures, uncontrollable events that are believed to develop beyond human are tried to be explained by fatalism. Fatalism is an uncontrollable, typical example of belief. Fatalism is particularly used to explain events that are inevitable and are considered unfortunate. Although such beliefs seem to have been diminished by scientific advances, the fatalism approach continues to affect the risks and accidents of people, which are still difficult to explain today. In this study, a questionnaire consisting of two parts was applied to the students in order to investigate the tendency of fatalism of the students studying at Aydın Adnan Menderes University, Atça Vocational School.
