Summary/Abstract: The aim of the study is to outline and interpret domestic trends in the accessibility of school prevention interventions and prevention activities of schools during the 30 years following the change of regime. According to the available quantitative and qualitative research results, the favourable tendencies, which started slowly in the nineties and later on at the beginning of the millennium, mainly in the aspects of access (volume) and later in quality, have stopped, in many respects there is a decline. In recent years, unfavourable trends in both access to prevention and quality development, increasing deficits relative to prevention needs identified in the target population and international trends have been identified.
