Summary/Abstract: The phenomena of grammatical metamorphosis are very recurrent in grammatical and contextual uses: the first is that of the migration from one class to another; a majority of DM is built from the decategorization - reclassification of morphemes belonging to other classes. The second is that of the opacity of the boundaries between the different markers.In the context of this paper, we will focus on the various canonical and contextual uses of the "but" connector by supporting, through examples, this categorical instability.
