WEAPON FUNCTION IN OUR TRADITIONAL CULTURE

Summary/Abstract: This paper deals with the role of weapons in some of our mores and customs, particularly those dealing with birth, wedding and death. Weapons mentioned in these mores and customs are various. Besides cold weapons: bow, arrow, knife, and carver of sword, widely used were also fire weapons such as: rifle, kobure (a sort of gun), revolver etc.
