Summary/Abstract: The reform of the administration of the country started on 1 January 1999, then the province West Pomerania created. Combined into a single structure prevalent areas of the former provinces of Szczecin (43,6%) and Koszalin (37,0%) and in marginal amounts: Gorzów, Piła and Słupsk province. Important for the region is the problem of diversity and the economic gap between the western, middle and eastern part of the area. Province was originally divided into two sub-regions: Szczecin and Koszalin. From 1 January 2008 the NUTS classification, there are four sub-regions: szczeciński, the city of Szczecin, stargardzki and koszaliński. According to analysts and the general public, the paradigm of sustainable development of the region as part of the mission of the regional strategy is not effectively implemented. The purpose of the article is to present the results of research on the state of differentiation of the level of economic development in the districts of the province in the years 2000–2012. The author analyzes this issue for many years (compare works from 1999, 2001, 2008 and2012), using mainly taxonomic methods and algorithms cooperative game theory. The work is a part of a bigger problem analysis: author performs studies to determine the dynamic diversity of the level of development of territorial units in the region, including by algorithms E. Nowak [Nowak 1990].
