Summary/Abstract: The paper is divided into two sections. The first section briefly presents general aspects of nullity. In the second section there is described the new aspects of the main categories of invalidity as arising from the provisions of the New Civil Code and legal status of absolute and relative nullity. The approach is strictly doctrinal and relies solely on the interpretation of the law. The study is meant to be a start in researching this institution, which will be continued as a case in crystallization of jurisprudence.
