Summary/Abstract: The article substantiates the use of continuous monitoring of key evaluation indicators of the supply chain performance in two dimensions: process and system, to determine the effects of the implementation of an innovation in its internal parameters. This will avoid and significantly reduce suboptimal decision making in each of the four areas of performance, namely, service levels, internal efficiency, elasticity of the demand and product development, providing, thus, synergy of such decisions. This scheme of interconnection of innovative solutions, processes and supply chain performance characterizes the effect of “parallel engineering” on the processes that penetrate the whole supply chain. The article determines the expediency of providing a differentiated approach to the implementation of process management in the supply chain depending on the stage of chain development. In particular, at the stage where the supply chain is being formed the SCOR model which focuses on tactical specific tasks to improve the efficiency of transactions may look more attractive and at the stage of growth and maturity it is GSCF model.
