Summary/Abstract: : The presented paper is devoted to the discussion of the role of economic consulting in the management of family micro businesses. It presents the determinants and the importance of economic consulting as a factor in reducing the gap in management expertise in the enterprises. The second part of the paper presents the results of empirical studies of 118 family micro businesses using economic consulting services in the field of knowledge creation and formulation of development strategies.
